Juli Averill

Juli Averill

Juli has been a practitioner of Ji Do Kwan at River Valley Tae Kwon Do since 2007 and was promoted to the rank of IL Dan (first degree black belt) in the summer of 2014. Juli is a doctoral student in Kinesiology at UMass Amherst where she specializes in the sensorimotor control of movement especially pertaining to balance and postural control.
Carin Zinter

Carin Zinter

Carin Zinter started practicing the Ji Do Kwan style of Tae Kwon Do at River Valley Tae Kwon Do in 2006. She holds the rank of Il Dan (first degree black belt) from the Kukkiwon in Seoul, South Korea. A former mountain bike racer turned triathlete turned ultra-runner, Carin spends most of her waking hours training for something.

Luke Ryan started practicing the Ji Do Kwan style of Tae Kwon Do at River Valley Tae Kwon Do in 1998 and holds the rank of Yi Dan (second degree black belt) from the Kukkiwon in Seoul, South Korea. He began teaching in 2004 when he was promoted to the rank of Il Dan (first degree black belt).
Matt Roncone

Matt Roncone

Matt Roncone began practicing the Ji Do Kwan style of Tae Kwon Do at River Valley Tae Kwon Do in 2001 and currently holds the rank of Yi Dan (second degree black belt) from the Kukkiwon in Seoul, South Korea. Matt has been teaching since 2008 and currently runs the youth program at RVTKD, teaching afternoon classes for younger students.

William Tuman – Head Instructor

William Tuman has been practicing and teaching the Ji Do Kwan style of Tae Kwon Do since 1989 and holds the rank of Sa Dan (Fourth Degree Black Belt) from the Kukkiwon in Seoul, South Korea. He founded River Valley Tae Kwon Do in 1997.
