Chosun Taekwondo Academy
From Grandmaster Doug Cook of USTA/Chosun Academy:
Teens and adults will be working on Osipsabo and Narae, one a traditional form and the other, one of the newest. These will be taught by Master Kim Gylling from Finland and Grandmaster Kyu Hyun Lee from Korea, respectively. Also on the agenda will be training in basic skills, kicking/hand techniques and self-defense. Children, later, will be given the opportunity to train separately with highly qualified USTA masters while the others will be working on more complex techniques.
More details will likely be released as the date approaches, but here is a draft agenda of the weekend’s activities. Note that you can choose to attend only the Saturday session, and many participants will likely do so, both from our dojang and from other participating schools. Don’t skip the seminar just because you can’t make it on Sunday!
If you’re a River Valley Tae Kwon Do student and would like to attend, please complete this short survey. Once you complete the survey, you will be emailed an application form.
